With the same commitment, we started a journey in 2010 by establishing a Commerce Department with two courses B.Com. and M.Com.. The Commerce department of the College is one of the top in the regions.The department has a sufficient number of qualified and capable faculty members who are committed to the academic and overall growth of the student body. Learner-centric, ICT-enabled, Project-based, continuous assessment, and comprehensive & realistic evaluation are some of the teaching features of our department's faculty. Eligibility
Any student who has obtained 50% (45% in the case of SC/ST) marks in aggregate in plus two examination (Senior Secondary System) in any group from the Punjab School Education Board/C.B.S.E./I.S.C. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Punjabi University, Patiala.
Program Outcomes :
PO1 : After deep insight of fundamentals of commerce and other related disciplines like statistic, taxation, law, economics and finance.
PO2 : The curriculum offers a numbers of courses to equip the students to face modern day challenges in the field of business and profession.
PO3 : The learners will acquire skills like communication, decision making and leadership qualities in solving day to day business affairs.
PO4 : Students will have a comprehensive understanding of accounting skills, which can further be applied in their future careers and higher education.
PO5 : The learners will involve in various practical work as tax consultant, audit assistant and other financial supporting services.
