POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER APPLICATIONS (PGDCA)


PGDCA (POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN APPLICATIONS) is a one-year diploma for graduate students coming from different streams having interest in developing computer applications. This course provides opportunity for people to learn different fields of computer technology particularly computer applications. It allows students to gain computer knowledge which will enhance their skills to deal with various information technology related fields. During the one-year span, the students go through lectures, seminars, practical sessions and workshops. The students are encouraged to deliver seminars, develop projects, conduct small workshops, and training sessions.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduation in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate.

• Graduation in any stream with 45% marks for SC/ST students.

PO1:It will equip the students with skills required for designing, developing applications in Information Technology.

PO2:Students will be able to learn the latest trends in various subjects of computers & information technology.

PO3:To provide a detailed coverage of the key concepts and challenges in data and resource protection and computer software security.
