Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was created to keep track of the college's quality parameters. The National Assessment Accreditation Committee recommended that the committee be established. The IQAC assists colleges in planning and monitoring activities. Furthermore, the IQAC allows stakeholders or beneficiaries to participate in the institute's quality improvement initiatives in a cross-sectional manner. IQAC assists colleges in achieving their goal to


• Create a method for institutional performance improvement that is deliberate, consistent, and catalytic.

• It significantly and meaningfully contributes to the accreditation of institutions.

• Direct an institution's efforts and measures toward academic achievement

• To achieve these objectives, IQAC has the following functions:

• Establishing and using quality benchmarks/parameters for the HEI's numerous academic and administrative tasks;

• Assisting in the construction of a learner-centered environment conducive to high-quality education and faculty maturation in terms of knowledge and technology adoption for participatory teaching and learning;

• Gathering feedback on quality-related institutional processes from students, parents, and other stakeholders;

• Information dissemination on several higher education quality indicators include;

• Inter- and intra-institutional workshops, seminars on quality-related topics, and the promotion of quality circles.

• Documentation of the HEI's many programs/activities in order to improve overall quality of education ;

• Serving as the HEI's nodal agency for quality-related initiatives, such as the adoption and dissemination of best practices.

• MIS is used to develop and maintain institutional databases with the goal of maintaining/improving institutional quality.

• Promotion of a quality culture in the institution;

• Preparation of the HEI's Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) in the prescribed format, based on the quality parameters/assessment criteria developed by the applicable quality assurance authority (such as NAAC, NBA, or NIRF);

• Quality Radars (QRs) are developed every year, and HEI Integral Units are ranked using the AQAR.


FOLLOW UP

• The AQAR shall be approved by the statutory bodies of the Institute for the follow up action for necessary quality enhancement measures.

• The Colleges shall regularly submit their AQARs to the affiliating University, state level quality assurance bodies, NAAC/other accreditation bodies.

• The institution shall submit AQARs and/or Quality Radars (QRs) and follow up reports of AQARs to the UGC as and when called for.

• The IQAC must create its exclusive window on its institutional website, to regularly report on its activities, as well as for hosting the AQAR.
