School of Science and Mathematics
Since its inception, the Asian Educational Institute has been offering Postgraduate programs in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, along with Undergraduate programs in Life Sciences and Physical Sciences earlier referred to as Medical and Non-Medical streams. These programs have been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) since 2010.The college is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and excellent research facilities across departments. Its 3 & 4 years undergraduate and 2-year postgraduate programmes are designed to impart practical and industry-relevant skills, in alignment with the vision and academic reforms of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The policy framework also offers students the flexibility of a three-year exit option or the opportunity to pursue a four-year Honors degree.

Under Graduate Programme:
B.Sc/ B.Sc. (Hons) Physical Sciences
It is a 3-year/4 years (2 semesters in each year) undergraduate program designed as per the guidelines of NEP 2020. Students who wish to exit after 3 years of programme will be awarded a degree of B.Sc. and after successful completion of 4 years a programme, student will be awarded degree of B.Sc.( Honour). This programme provides basic understanding about Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Fundamentals of Computer Applications.
Eligibility:
10+2, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST).
JOB PROSPECTS:
• Possible employment settings for science majors include jobs in Government and Non-Government organizations (Chemical Industries, Colleges/Universities and Food products, Pharmaceutical, Petroleum Companies, Research Firms and Teaching). Students get opportunities to work as Data Analysts and in Data Computing.
• Students are eligible to appear in various competitive examinations for Government jobs at National and State level such as Banking, LIC, FCI, and Police Department, etc.
B.Sc/ B.Sc. (Hons) Life Sciences
It is a 3-year/4 years, (2 semesters in each year) undergraduate program designed as per the guidelines of NEP 2020. This programme provides basic understanding about Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry.
10+2 with Medical stream, 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST).
• Because the course covers a wide range of technical and practical skills related to Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, and Pathology, it offers a diverse range of career paths in the medical and healthcare sector.
• They can pursue a Master’s Degree and scientific research in the areas of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Human and Biotechnology, etc.
