INTRODUCTION
A steady stream of highly educated and skilled people is needed to create a highly knowledgeable society to improve professional education, training , skills and research abilities. The Asian College of Education mission is to cultivate the nation’s future generation of academic professionals among students. Teaching is considered as the noblest profession among all occupations. In light of this, the Asian College of Education (Teacher Training College) was founded in 2015 to expand the reach of teacher education to impoverished populations in remote areas of Punjab (Patiala). The college is affiliated with Punjabi University Patiala and approved by NCTE. The Integrated BA/B.Sc. B.Ed. the program was introduced in 2016 and since then, the college has accomplished outstanding achievements and has never looked back. It now stands out as one of the top education colleges in the area having received a Grade B accredited by NAAC. Now the Asian College of Education is engaged in providing students with ITEP (Integrated Teacher Education Programme ) for middle and secondary stages that need to support their entire development and accomplishment.
In order to help students to become proactive and competent academic professionals, we offer them a plethora of teaching and learning tools. For the development of the students, they are exposed to essential communication skills and real world classroom teaching opportunities. MOU’s have been signed with various schools for smooth functioning of internship and placement programs.
The Asian College of Education is dedicated to inculcate all the necessary academic, practical, and life skills to the students to facilitate their overall growth and success. It also helps in inculcating professional ethics along with human values in the student-teachers to help them take decisions and build paths in direction of overall progress of the society.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
+2 Humanities with 50% marks
Minimum Qualification for admission to first semester of the course will be +2 Examination of any Board/University which is recognised by the Punjabi University as equivalent to it with atleast 50% marks(45% in case of SC/ST)
Programme Outcomes:
After completion of Teacher Education programme, the pupil teachers will be able to:
