Every journey begins with a single step, and scaling high demands unwavering fortitude and unwavering efforts. With the same commitment, we started a journey in 2010 by establishing a Commerce Department with two courses  B.Com. and M.Com.. The Commerce department of the College is one of the top in the regions.The department has a sufficient number of qualified and capable faculty members who are committed to the academic and overall growth of the student body. Learner-centric, ICT-enabled, Project-based, continuous assessment, and comprehensive & realistic evaluation are some of the teaching features of our department's faculty. Our goal is to develop young men and women who are capable, committed, conscientious, and compassionate.We instill in students an unwavering dedication to improving organisational and social quality of life while encouraging a passionate pursuit of academic and intellectual success. Master of Commerce(M.Com.)


Any candidate who has passed B.Com. B.B.A., B.M.I.T. B.Com (Professional) and Bachelor of Accounting & Finance examinations with at least 50% marks in the aggregate from this University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto by the Academic Council.


Progamme Outcomes:

PO1 : Equip the students with higher level knowledge and understanding of contemporary trends in commerce and business finance.

PO2 : Train the students to evaluate environmental factors that influence business operation with the conceptual requirements and skills on preparation and interpretation of financial statements.

PO3 : Prepare the students for an in depth analysis of investment, portfolio management, investment banking and liquidation of investments.

PO4 : Develop competency in the students about the laws and regulations, and roles of commercial, government and central banks in controlling money market and inflation.

PO5 : Sensitize the students to plan and undertake independent research in a chosen discipline.

PO6 : Prepare the students for teamwork, lifelong learning and continuous professional development.
