Punjabi University, a premier higher education institution of the Malwa region, is committed to provide a world class education by ensuring quality teaching and research. In addition, the university has a large number of colleges that includes government, Government aided and self-financed colleges. Indeed a well-defined regulatory mechanism of the University provides academic leadership to the colleges for promoting quality education in nine districts of Punjab.
The Asian Group of colleges (AGC) is an upcoming institution affiliated to Punjabi University and known for its academic excellence, teaching pedagogy and learning management system. Notwithstanding, a decade old institution excelled not only in the field of academics but also in the sports, social-cultural, science and environmental fields as well.
However, I do feel a self-finance purely private funded institution working really very hard to explore the new avenues especially in Science Inspire programs, funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). The institution organized Eight Inspire Programs in a row. Furthermore, the institution administers; Village adoption program, Social Awareness activities and Career awareness programs in the campus as well as abundant outdoor associations to shape up the young scholars as prospective employees. Indeed under the visionary and adroit guidance of the whole team of management, the institution has been rewarded with the NAAC institutional Grading by seeing the significant academic, administrative and infrastructural excellence.
Moreover, college has the state of the art infrastructure, lush green campus, best sports facilities, Science Labs, Computer Labs, Language lab and well-stocked Library to cater to the faculty and students needs. Above of all, the institution has a four conference halls, where students are being taught by using ultra-modern pedagogical tools, respectively on blended and physical modes. I certainly admire and congratulate the College management and administration for their outstanding efforts and wish them luck for the best future endeavours and engagements.
